We ‘lost’ an hour today, as the clocks in Canada sprung forward for Daylight Savings Time. Things seem to be speeding up. I wake up to a list of things to do and I blink and it’s lunch time! Does this happen to you?
Time is ‘Slipping Through my Fingers, as the song tells us in Mamma Mia. I’m in Vancouver and have just watched a second performance of Mamma Mia presented by my granddaughter’s High School. She was working backstage.
The high school band did a fabulous job with live music. I was impressed with the whole show and pleased that I took the time to travel out to share it with her. She’s growing up so quickly! It’s hard to believe how fast time goes when you’re having fun.
This has been a good year for me! I went to Panama to escape some winter and focus on writing my new book. I stayed on Uverito Beach (near Las Tablas) and wrote for part of most of the 33 days I was there. Made some great progress!
I’ve booked a date for my book launch (October 7th) and have been planning the details. So many things yet to arrange! I’ve added a theatre component to the book launch, and I’m thrilled at the prospect of having two creative things rolled up into one event. A performance and my new book, ‘Brave New Endings’. I hope you can make it out to experience it with us.
